Geneva International Centre for Humanitarian Demining – New Strategy

2014: King Zollinger supported the development of the new GICHD medium-term strategy (2015-2018).

The Geneva International Centre for Humanitarian Demining (GICHD) works to eliminate mines, explosive remnants of war and other explosive hazards. To achieve this, the GICHD supports national authorities, international organisations and civil society in their efforts to improve the relevance and performance of mine action. Core activities include furthering knowledge, promoting norms and standards, and developing in-country and international capacity. King Zollinger facilitated two staff retreats in Geneva to advance the development of the new strategy and provided methodological support to the development of the results framework for 2015-2018.
